Exciting Motorcycle Tour from Northern England into Scotland

From 9th August to 16th August 2025

Embark on an exhilarating motorcycle tour that takes you through the picturesque landscapes of northern England and the majestic scenery of Scotland. This unforgettable journey, spanning from the 9th to the 16th of August 2025, promises adventure, culture, and relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration at Vindolanda

On the 16th of August, our tour begins at the historic site of Vindolanda near Hexham. At 1pm, we gather to explore the renowned Roman archaeological site and museums, where ancient history comes to life. Following our cultural immersion, we take a short ride to the charming Langley Castle Hotel in Hexham. Here, we enjoy a delightful evening meal and rest for the night, with a hearty breakfast awaiting us the next morning.

Day 2: Journey to Ballater

After a satisfying breakfast, we set off on a scenic ride to the Ballater area and The Kinord Hotel.

 Upon arrival, a welcoming evening meal awaits us. We settle in for a two-night stay, allowing ample time to explore the stunning Balmoral area the next day. Both evenings, we indulge in delicious meals, complemented by delightful breakfasts each morning.

Day 4: Ride to the Spean Valley

Our journey continues as we ride to Glenspean Lodge on the Spean River, North of Fort William. We spend two nights at this idyllic location, enjoying evening meals and breakfasts. The area offers breathtaking landscapes and serene surroundings, perfect for relaxation and exploration, close enough to the Isle of Skye for a visit.

Day 6: Discover the West coast in Dumfries and Galloway

We then travel to the West Coast and stay at The Fairfield Hotel in Ayr, where we settle in for another two-night stay. The area is teeming with activities and sights, ensuring there is plenty to do and see, including the Robert Burns Museum, Culzean Castle and Ayr Beach (Just across the road from this Hotel!).

Day 7: Return Home

On the final day, we embark on our ride back home, our hearts full of memories from this incredible journey.
